Northern California Sport-Horse Breeding Farm Investigated for Horse Abuse

The Marin Humane Society (MHS) has initiated an investigation of Gray Fox Farms which recently moved to an undeveloped property in the western area of Marin County in California.

The MHS officers inspected the property on December 27 and found:

... serious neglect, injuries, unsafe and inhumane living conditions for horses living on the property. One injured stallion was seized and is currently under 24-hour medical observation at an offsite location and another impounded horse, a malnourished mare, is also receiving rehabilitative care.

The MHS has concerns about the living conditions and health of at least 20 other horses on the property.

Check the Marin Humane Society website for more information or to make donations to help with the expenses for the seizures.
