Indulge in "Feeling Your Oats" Ice Cream to Help Support the Omaha Equestrian Foundation
Omaha, Nebraska - The Omaha Equestrian Foundation (OEF) is pleased to announce that the signature flavor ice cream, "Feeling Your Oats" by eCreamery Gourmet Ice Cream, Sorbet and Gelato, will help support the OEF and the 2016 International Omaha jumping and dressage competition.
During the month of April, $1.00 of each pint of "Feeling Your Oats" ice cream purchased at
eCreamery will go to support the Omaha Equestrian Foundation, a certified 501(c)3 not-for-profit foundation, focused on fostering and developing international caliber athletes within the equestrian sport and to support and educate the local community in the process. "Feeling Your Oats" is a special blend of honey and oats ice cream and described to make you feel "energetic or high-spirited," the perfect ice cream for horse lovers of all ages!
International Omaha is a world-class equestrian jumping and dressage experience, combining high-level, intense competition featuring top national and international riders who have competed in the Olympic Games, FEI World Cup™ and Pan American Games. It will be hosted at CenturyLink Center Omaha on May 5-7, 2016. This marks the fifth year that Omaha is hosting this internationally sanctioned competition.
The 2016 International Omaha is the prelude to the 2017 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final and FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final, which will be hosted at the CenturyLink Center on March 29-April 2, 2017. The FEI World Cup™ Finals are an annual indoor Championship competition among the world's best jumping and dressage horses and riders. International Omaha tickets are available online through Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets also may be purchased in person at the CenturyLink Center Omaha Box Office. There is no admission charge to see the daytime competition.
The International Omaha is produced by the Omaha Equestrian Foundation (OEF), a certified 501(c)3 not-for-profit foundation. About the FEI World Cup™ Finals
First held in 1986, the FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final features the world's best dressage horses and riders. A total of 31 Finals have been held through 2016, and the United States has won the championship twice - in 2003 (Debbie McDonald with Brentina) and 2009 (Steffen Peters with Ravel). The Final has been held in the U.S. in Los Angeles (1995) and Las Vegas (2005, 2007, 2009, 2015).
Started in 1979, the FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final is an annual international showdown among the world's best show jumping horses and riders. In the 38 Finals held through 2016, Germany (10) and the United States (9) have emerged with the most titles. Previous FEI World Cup™ Jumping Finals held in the United States include Baltimore (1980), Tampa (1989), Del Mar, CA (1992) and Las Vegas (2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2015).
