The Hermes Grand Prix at the Grand Palais, Paris, had a remarkable outcome:  two riders tied for first place.  

 

Both Christian Ahlmann of Germany and Rik Hemeryck of Belgium stopped the clock in the jump-off with 40.71 seconds.  

 

Ahlmann, riding Taloubet Z went second in the jump-off field of eight riders.  Hemeryck rode Quarco de Kerambars to his equal score with Ahlmann.  Malin Baryard-Johnsson of Sweden finished in third place riding H&M Tornesch.

 

The two first place winners split the 1st and 2nd place prize for €50,000 each.
