AjPHA President’s Service Project Benefits PATH Intl.
Denver—The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) office in Denver, CO, had visitors on January 18 as Colt Cumpton, the American Junior Paint Horse Association President, his mother and two younger brothers presented PATH Intl. CEO Kay Green with a beautiful horse statue. (To see a close-up of the statue, visit www.ajpha.com and click on Presidential Project.) Colt is donating the funds raised through the AjPHA Presidential Service Project “Paint Our Country Proud!” to PATH International Equine Services for Heroes.
PATH International Equine Services for Heroes assists military veterans through services provided by PATH International members and by providing leadership and guidance for equine-assisted activities and therapies. To accomplish this mission, PATH International centers connect with Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and Clinics, as well as individual veterans. Veterans of any age can benefit from the program and by being involved with equines.
In addition to therapeutic riding, PATH International Centers offer a number of therapeutic equine-related activities, including hippotherapy, equine-facilitated mental health, carriage driving, interactive vaulting, competition, ground work and stable management.
Visit the PATH International Equine Services for Heroes page to learn more or contact Corey Campbell, (800) 369-7433, ext. 104. Click here to find a PATH International Equine Services for Heroes Center near you.
