Pebble Beach Horse Shows: A Tradition Ends

A series of very popular horse shows in California has come to an end.  Horse shows at Pebble Beach have been held since the 1940's and have attracted the big name horses and riders from both north and south to the world-renowned scenic area near Monterey.  

The ridepebblebeach.com website posted the following statement:

It is with great sadness that I must tell you, after 10 decades of Pebble Beach Horse Shows, the Pebble Beach Company has decided it must come to an end. For all of you that have had the pleasure of enjoying this very special place, we share in your sadness. We would like to thank you for the many special years and all the wonderful memories. Please post any pictures you might have to our Facebook page, along with your stories of your Pebble experience. You can also send them to tim@ridepebblebeach.com.  Again, thank you ALL for making the Pebble Beach Equestrian Events so very special ... .
