Plum Pretty held off a charging St. John's River to win the Kentucky Oaks by a neck. Trainer Bob Baffert said the filly has come along well in her last few races to shine in the Oaks.

Plum Pretty is a daughter of Medalgia d'Oro and owned by Peachtree Stables.

St. John's River was ridden by Rosie Napravnik who told the Daily Racing Form that she needed just a little bit more stretch for her horse to win.

Zazu grabbed the third spot.
