Police Horses to get Riot Shields for Chicago Summits

The Chicago Sun-Times  is reporting that police horses in Chicago are to be issued riot shields in preparation for upcoming international summits in May.

The shields will consist of nose guards, eye visors, and plastic leg protectors.

Thirty horses in the squad will all be issued the new equipment.
