Four horses rescued from a Parker, Colorado property this weekend are under the watchful eye of the Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue in Arvada, Colorado, the Denver Post reports.

On a body condition scale ranging from 1 to 9, with 5 being ideal, 1 being starving, and 9 being obese, the horses rated between 1 and 2.

Rescue president Bini Abbott stated that so long as there were no underlying problems the rescue didn't know about, the horses could be brought back to full health.
