Rowdy Rider Ends Up in the Pokey

Three horseback riders entered the Starbucks inside a Safeway store in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the other day, but they had forgotten to dismount before they headed to the counter.

The manager told them to leave immediately, but they bought a bag of chips before they moseyed out.  Oh, they moseyed out on their horses through the automatic doors!

Their day of non-stop fun, including  visits at  several pubs, finally ended after the riders had neglected to dismount again, this time in a bar.  The staff called police who finally had to use a taser to subdue one of the trio who was later arrested.

Steamboattoday.com quoted one of the riders saying:  

“One thing led to another, and we just kept going,” (she) said. “It was super fun to be in a town where you can ride your horse to dinner. People just loved it. Little kids were petting the horses. It was just fun.”

Apparently the authorities thought they had pushed the fun a little too far.
