Breyer Animal Creations, makers of the world’s finest model horses, has partnered with its largest Canadian equine retailer, Greenhawk, to bring together representatives of its newest portrait models: Trooper of the Toronto Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Horse to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian competition in the world.

Toronto hometown hero Trooper and Constable Gregg John of the Toronto Police Service Mounted Unit, recently made a clean sweep of every division in the 2013 North American Police Equestrian Championships. They will be honoured with their own Breyer® portrait model horse (pictured below), as part of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair’s A ROYAL SALUTE TO THOSE THAT SERVE, during Opening Ceremonies of the Royal Horse Show on November 1st. In addition, Trooper and Constable John will be appearing Saturday, Nov. 9 at the President’s Choice Animal Theatre with autographs to follow at the Spirit of the Horse stalls. Trooper’s Breyer portrait model will debut at the Royal and will be carried at various vendors.
Breyer is also proud to welcome representatives of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride for a Meet & Greet on Sat., Nov. 2nd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Greenhawk (Exhibit Hall A). The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is the Canadian national police service and is unique in the world since it is a national, federal, provincial and municipal policing body. More importantly, the RCMP and its Musical Ride are proud symbols of Canada. Breyer is honored to have been chosen to create a RCMP portrait model from which a portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit programs of the RCMP through its official charity, the RCMP Foundation.
Breyer is proud to present hometown hero Trooper and Constable Gregg John of the Toronto Police Service Mounted Unit, two-time winner of the North American Police Equestrian Championships Top Horse Championship. Trooper won Top Horse in 2012 and came back in 2013, winning all four divisions contested at the Championships.
Trooper and Const. John will be appearing Saturday, Nov. 9th at 10:10 AM in the President’s Choice Animal Theatre with autographs to follow at the Spirit of the Horse Stalls. Breyer has created a portrait model of Trooperfrom which a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Toronto Police Service. The Breyer model will make its debut at the Royal this year.
In addition, The Royal Winter Fair will open with A ROYAL SALUTE TO THOSE THAT SERVE, during The Royal Horse Show evening performance on Opening Day November 1st to honour Canadian Military and First Responders. The Royal Horse Show will feature The Toronto Police Services Mounted Equestrian Games Team Champions who won the North American Police Equestrian Games this past October. Both Trooper, the 2013 Top Horse, and the RCMP Mounted Unit, whose Breyer model will also debut at the Royal, will take part in the ceremony alongside The Governor General’s Horse Guard and the Toronto Police Services Canine Unit.
Kids can paint Breyer Stablemates models themselves in the Breyer Booth near Ag-Tivity Central! This free activity is offered all day Saturday on both weekends of the show on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
