Exceptional Entries for first International Royal Windsor

Competitors from over 24 nations will descend on Royal Windsor in a fortnight's time (14 - 18 May).  This exciting international line up covers the four disciplines - dressage, showjumping, driving and endurance - that make Royal Windsor a CHI (Concours Hippique Internationale) for the first time, with a huge boost in prize money to £255,000.

Show Jumping

Among the confirmed entries for the 3* International Show Jumping are two members of the London 2012 gold medal winning team, Nick Skelton and Peter Charles, as well as reigning World Champion, Philippe Le Jeune (BEL) and Saudi Arabia's Abdulla Al Sharbatly, famous for winning silver at the World Equestrian Games in 2010 and team bronze at London 2012.  Other international riders include Venezuela's Andres Rodriguez and USA team mates Lauren Hough and Laura Kraut.  Italy's Emanuele Guadiano, 27th in the FEI World Rankings, travels over with three horses to compete.  For the full list of definite entries please click here.

Dressage

Seven nations will compete in the 3* International Dressage Competition - the Grand Prix takes place on the evening of Thursday 15th May and the Freestyle on the evening of Friday 16th May.  General entry ticket holders can stay on for all of the  evening programe, which includes displays from The Household Cavalry and The King's Troop.   The headline act in the dressage competition will undoubtedly be  Charlotte Dujardin and stallion Uthopia.  Seven times national champion Carl Hester will be competing Fine Time , whilst international riders are six-times Australian National champion Mary Hanna, long standing member of the Portuguese equestrian team, Daniel Pinto and South Africa's Denise Hallion.  For a full list of competitors please click here.

Driving

International Driving has been a highlight of the Show since it was introduced by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 1971.  This year sees an exceptionally high set of entries in the Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix which takes place 15 - 18 May with the popular 'Marathon Phase' timetabled for Saturday 17th May.  Competitors include current FEI World Cup Driving champion Boyd Exell (AUS) but hot competition is expected from four times World Champion Ijsbrand Chardon (NED).  For a full list of entries please click on the links below:
