Hickstead Still Drawing Fans to Spruce Meadows

 

(SPRUCE MEADOWS, Calgary, AB): A steady stream of fans continues to arrive at Spruce Meadows each day to sign a condolence book for Eric Lamaze recognizing the loss of his great stallion Hickstead.  A small memorial paying tribute to the 15 year old stallion, who died suddenly while competing in Europe on November 6, 2011, has been erected in front of the Spruce Meadows Riding Hall.

 

The condolence book, photo gallery and video highlight board saluting Hickstead will be in place until November 13th. Fans wishing to sign the book are invited to do so between 9 and 5 daily until Sunday. Fans wishing to sign the book are invited to do so between 9 and 5 daily until Sunday.
