Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Saturday News Blast: Brazil Takes the BMO Nations' Cup Trophy

'Masters' News Blast - Brazil Takes the BMO Nations' Cup Trophy

It was an edge-of-your-seat kind of BMO Nations' Cup today with France, Brazil, and Canada duking it out all the way.  Brazil sent Rodrigo Pessoa as the anchor rider and he did his job with all the poise his vast experience and championships can give.  A very strong French team, pulling through with three clear trips in the second round, hung on for third place while Canada produced solid rounds to slot into the Bronze medal position.

And one thing is very clear:  Brazil is shooting to have the best team they can for Rio 2016.

In the earlier Suncor Energy Cup - Winning Round, Scott Brash made his presence known with neat and quick second round to score the Gold.  Certainly a positive lead-up to his attempt tomorrow to claim the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping and the CP International.
