Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament:
They'll be Celebrating in Ireland Tonight
Today's International competitions at the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament started off with a decidedly Irish flavor. The $50,000 ATCO Structures and Logistics Cup was completely dominated by Irish riders who earned first, second and third place prizes.
Not only that, but Conor Swail grabbed both first and second place riding two chestnut horses which are similar not only in looks, but in their cattiness and speed.

Also sporting Irish colors, Dermot Lennon had a super result with Hallmark Elite. They cleared the skinny second-to-last fence that caught so many other riders in the first round and then produced a quick jump-off to secure third place for the Irish flag as well.
