Ward Does It Again

McLain Ward extended his winning streak today at the Spruce Meadows National Tournament by a 0.10 second margin over Rich Fellers in the jump-off for the $200,000 CN Reliability Grand Prix on a soaked Saturday afternoon.

Ward, riding the flashy grey Wurtemburg gelding, Antares F, joined John Anderson and Terrific who were the first pair to set down a clear round in the class.

Riding toward the end of the start order, Rich Fellers and the Irish-bred stallion Flexible also put in a clear round. Just two trips before, Ian Millar and the 16 year-old veteran In Style also conquered the soggy course.

Only those four managed to go clear on Guilherme Jorge's testing track.

Both Millar and Anderson had 4 faults in the jump-off, finishing in third and fourth respectively.
