Fieldstone Spring Festival Prize List
Now Available Online

Halifax, MA - Stadium Jumping is pleased to announce that the Fieldstone Spring Festival competition's prize list is currently available online. The prize list and entry blank are posted on www.showfieldstone.com and www.stadiumjumping.com. Entries for the Fieldstone Spring Festival close on May 3, 2013.

The Fieldstone Spring Festival will mark the beginning of top competition from May 15 - 19, 2013, at the Fieldstone Show Park in Halifax, MA. Jumper highlights include the $25,000 Fieldstone Grand Prix, the $7,500 Open Speed Derby and the $7,500 Welcome Stake. All of these distinguished classes will take place on the all-grass Grand Prix field. Last year, Jean Sheptoff rode Ami Des Gemmes to the top of the $25,000 Fieldstone Grand Prix leader board, taking home the lion's share of the prize money. The distinguished class offers the eligibility for riders to be included in the Rolex/USEF Show Jumping Ranking List.

The jumpers will also have the chance to showcase their mounts during the Open Jumper sections, as well as the 5,6 & 7/8 Year Old Young Jumpers. Junior and Amateur-Owner Jumpers will take their turn against the clock in the Grand Prix Ring, striving to take the top award in the $5,000 High Junior/Amateur-Owner Show Jumping Hall of Fame (SJHOF) Jumper Classic and the $3,000 Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic. The Children's/Adult Jumpers will work throughout the week to ride to the top of the leader board during the $2,500 Children's/Adult Jumper Classic.

The week of premier hunter showing will include the $10,000 3'3" Hunter Derby, the $2,500 2'9" Hunter Derby and the $2,500 Pony Classic. These classes will offer hunter riders the chance to compete on the grass field, showcasing their talents with their mounts. The derbies will be reminiscent of a hunt field with natural fences and shrubbery. Professionals, juniors and amateurs alike are welcome to compete.

Twenty-seven years ago, the Fieldstone Show Park was built to accommodate one-day horse shows. As time went by, the demand and focus of Fieldstone shifted to multi-day events. During the fall and winter of 2012, the Fieldstone Show Park started an ambitious two-year reconstruction project. These improvements include The Vendor Village, raised VIP Pavilion and Trainer/Rider Pavilion, a 16-foot high stone lighthouse created for videotaping the Grand Prix Field, as well as stabling, footing, infrastructure and competition coordination improvement.

While competing at the Fieldstone Show Park this spring, exhibitors and their families will also have the opportunity to explore Boston, MA, only a short drive away, as well as the historical Plymouth waterfront. The beautiful city of Halifax offers numerous hotel accommodations near the horse show facilities, as well as providing exhibitors with everything "America's Hometown" has to offer.

The Fieldstone Spring Classic would like to extend a special thanks to their generous sponsors including Staples, GGT Footing, SmartPak and Equinesite.com. The Fieldstone Spring Classic is proud to be aligned with charity partners Children's Wish Foundation International, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
