The Alltech National Horse Show Announces Alltech Ag Network as Official Broadcaster

[Lexington, KY] - The Alltech Ag Network (AlltechAgNetwork.com), a web portal and streaming video channel through the Web site, iHigh.com, has partnered with the Alltech National Horse Show to become the exclusive broadcaster of the event.

The Alltech Ag Network will provide wall to wall coverage of the Alltech National Horse Show occurring at the Kentucky Horse Park in the Alltech Arena from November 2-6. The event will be accessible real time via computers, iPads and all iPhone, Android and BlackBerry mobile devices. The coverage will be professionally produced by Emmy winning, Carr-Hughes, who has a long history providing coverage of equestrian events including the worldwide broadcast of last year's Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games also from Lexington. Live streaming video will also be accessible on mobile browsers through the Alltech Ag Network.
"Alltech Ag Network's ambitious plan for complete coverage for this year's debut of the Alltech National Horse Show just adds to the tremendous excitement already being generated for this great horse show," said Mason Phelps, Jr., president of the National Horse Show Association. "I'm excited that people around the world will get a chance to experience the magic of this event."

Billy Frey, Alltech's global manager of digital marketing said, "iHigh.com is the future of the broadcast world. Agriculture finally has a voice in the broadcast world with the Alltech Ag Network which is pleased to showcase the excitement of the legacy event of last year's Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, the Alltech National Horse Show."

Bob Hughes, Carr-Hughes' co-principle commented, "The National Horse Show is our country's most historic equestrian event. We are both excited and proud to a part of such an important event."

No strangers to working on large sporting events, students at Asbury University will make up the production staff. Many of these students worked recently on the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Jim Owens, dean of the School of Communication Arts at Asbury University said, "Our students are excited about the opportunity to work on this national event. We have worked with Alltech and Carr-Hughes in the past and it has always been a rewarding experience for our students. Events like the Alltech National Horse Show provide incredible experience for our media students. We view this as a substantial contribution to our students' education."

Alltech partnered with global online network iHigh.com for the creation of the Alltech Ag Network. This web portal was created to provide a platform for agriculture's stories to be told, specifically through the live online broadcast of agriculture events.

CEO of iHigh.com, Jim Host said, "We are delighted to add the Alltech Ag Network to our growing number of networks focused on the Global Youth Market. Alltech is such a great company led by one of the truly outstanding visionaries in business in Dr. Pearse Lyons."
