Richter, who has competed in the Hampton Classic for more than 30 years, spoke about the Classic’s position as one of the nation’s premier hunter-jumper horse shows.

“There are few experiences that match riding in the Hampton Classic’s Grand Prix Field in front of the more than 40,000 spectators who visit the show each year,” he said. “I invite everyone to come out to this year’s Classic to enjoy our world-class equestrian competition, boutique shopping, international food court, kids’ area and more. It’s a treat that I know everyone will enjoy!”

The Classic received great visibility as Richter’s comments were carried live online. Additionally, the Hampton Classic logo and video footage with promotional messages were shown continuously on the screen in the NASDAQ Studio and on the famed NASDAQ Tower outside in Times Square.

“This was a fabulous day for the Hampton Classic,” said Shanette Cohen, Hampton Classic Executive Director. “We thank Philip for taking the time to represent us so well and we thank NASDAQ for this great opportunity to spread the word about our upcoming event.”

The Hampton Classic is in its 36th year of bringing world-class equestrian competition, shopping and entertainment to the eastern end of Long Island. The horse show's scope extends far beyond the Hamptons, attracting masses of spectators, socialites and celebrity riders from across the world, who turn out to see and be seen at this iconic end-of-summer event.
