The Ridge at Wellington 1.40m Grand Prix Series returns to Mida Farm
Wellington, FL - Get in your entries for the seventh week of the Ridge at Wellington Grand Prix Invitational series, which will resume this Friday at Tops Field at Mida Farm. The series was on hold after last week's inclement weather. The event has become a highlight of the show jumping season with over 40 entries contending for the top honors in the past weeks.
To avoid post-entry fees, reserve your spot today for a chance to compete at Tops Field at Mida Farm this Friday, February 22. The stakes are increasing each week as top riders, amateur and professional, vie for their invitation into the $24,750 Invitational Grand Prix Series Finale Saturday, March 23, 2013, and the Leading Rider Bonus.
Notable riders such as McLain Ward, Laura Kraut, Candice King, Kevin Babington and Andres Rodriguez have tested their skills in the Friday Grand Prix. Level 2 Jumpers of all experience levels are employing the change of venue to prepare for the Winter Equestrian Festival. The event has only continued to grow in popularity, especially as riders compete for the chance to overtake the Leading Rider Bonus rankings, currently held by Andres Rodriguez.
The 10-week series culminates with the $24,750 Ridge at Wellington Invitational Grand Prix Finale on March 23, 2013. Entries are available for the Grand Prix by visiting the The Ridge at Wellington's website. The Friday event will take place beginning at 8 am and running until 5 pm.
To further aid in convenience, The Ridge at Wellington will shuttle horses from Mische Way to Mida Farm with the assistance of a professional driver. The shuttle will run every two hours, beginning at 7:30 am. To make reservations for the shuttle please call The Ridge at Wellington at 561-791-1471.
Riders are encouraged to get their entries in as soon as possible for the approaching Friday Grand Prix. Turning in entries early will ensure that they get the time that they desire and avoid post entry fees.
