TOBA TO HOLD PEDIGREE AND CONFORMATION CLINIC IN LEXINGTON, KY.


 LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) will hold a Thoroughbred Pedigree and Conformation Clinic Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11 in Lexington, Ky.  The clinic, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature conformation presentations and live evaluations as well as pedigree discussions that will include nicking, dosage, outcrossing and inbreeding. Clinic speakers will include Dr. Gary Knapp, Dr. Wesley Sutter, Anne Peters, Bill Graves, Cathy Parke, Larry Jones, Donato Lanni, among others. The clinic will feature tours of Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm, Valkyre Stud and Lexington Equine Surgery and Sports Medicine. A complete agenda can be viewed here.

 

The clinic will begin at 8 a.m. at the Blood-Horse Publications offices in Lexington. The registration fee for the clinic is $187.50 for TOBA members and $300 for non-members and includes all support materials, breakfast and lunch. The TOBA member rate reflects a significantly discounted rate in honor of the 50th anniversary of the organization.
