Champion event rider Polly Williamson is in an induced coma after falling off her horse when it was spooked in bad weather.
According to the Daily Mail, Ms. Williamson has been placed in an induced coma by doctors after her horse landed on top of her when she fell off.
Former European champion Polly Williamson, 41, suffered a serious head injury and broke three vertebrae in her back after her animal is believed to have been spooked and bolted during high winds.
She has been put into an induced coma at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol as doctors wait for the fluid and bruising on her head to subside.
