Totilas, the KWPN black stallion ridden to multiple World Championship wins by Edward Gal, was scheduled to make his competitive debut with new rider, Matthias Alexander Rath, at Hagen Horses & Dreams Show in May.  

Unfortunately, Totilas developed a hoof abscess earlier in April and it has not cleared up in time for Hagen.  

On  www.Horses-and-Dreams.de, Ulli Kasselmann said:

"We feel particularly sorry for Matthias, as he has prepared intensively for this première and really wants to get started, but on the other hand, it is absolutely right under these circumstances not to take part."
