In a repeat of last year's decision, Totilas was declared the KWPN Horse of the Year. Breeders Jan and Anna Schuil of Broeksterwoude in Friesland province were awarded the well-deserved Nimmerdor Trophy for the second consecutive year. On Sunday, the couple will travel to Germany to present the KWPN Horse of the Year cooler to Paul Schockemöhle, Totilas' current owner. “After all, this is for Totilas,” said the proud breeders. “Last year, we were awarded the title in a whirlwind of excitement and were completely surprised; this time, we can thoroughly enjoy the experience. We feel so honored, and for us, this is a wonderful ending.”
