Totilas Moved to New location
Totilas, the extraordinary Dutch warmblood stallion who broke all dressage scoring records with previous rider Edward Gal, has been moved to the training center of his new owners near Frankfurt in Germany.
According to Ken Braddick of dressagenews.com, Totilas and his new rider, Matthias Alexander Rath, will continue to prepare for their postponed competition debut now scheduled for June 2-3 in Munich. They originally planned to compete at Horses & Dreams in Hagen last weekend, but an abscess in Totilas' left hind hoof disrupted that objective.
Totilas was bought from his previous owners in the Netherlands by a partnership between Paul Schockemöhle and Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff who is Matthias Alexander Rath's step-mother. Linsenhoff's husband, Klaus Martin Rath, father of Matthias Alexander, trains at his Schafhof facility where Totilas is now based.
Prior to the move, the stallion was stabled at Schockemöhle's facility where he maintained a busy breeding schedule in addition to his under saddle work with Rath.
