A training session, open to the Press, with Totilas and Matthias Alexander Rath had been scheduled for this coming Friday.  It has been cancelled according to Horseweb.de.

Totilas, the spectacular black KWPN stallion who set record scores in dressage sport with his former rider, Edward Gal, is being prepared for his debut with Rath in Hagen at the Horses and Dreams show.  

The training session on Friday had to be cancelled because Totilas is recovering from an abscess in his left hind hoof.  

Although recovery time is scheduled for a week, it is not expected to interfere with the new partner's first competitive performance in Hagen starting May 4.
