Junior and Pony Riders TEAM USA Nations Cup Poster Contest

Wellington, FL -  - As Nations Cup Night draws near, the United States is calling on all fans to show their support. This weekend, Saturday February 23 and Sunday, February 24, junior and pony riders are invited to create and submit a poster for the second annual "Team USA Poster Contest." Poster supplies will be available in the Winter Equestrian Festival Seating Pavilion located near the pony rings from 9:00AM to 3:00 PM.

All contestants and their families will receive seats to the Nations Cup Competition on Friday, March 1, 2013 and an official TEAM USA/USET Foundation baseball cap. Two poster contest divisions will be offered: 1.) Team USA Spirit, and 2.) Current Team Horse. The deadline to submit posters is Sunday, February, 24 at 3pm. The posters will be displayed and winners will be announced during the Nations Cup Pep Rally Reception in the Team USA Tent. Guest judges from the United States Young Riders Nations Cup Team will chose the best original artwork in each division, and winners will receive special Team USA prizes.

"Last year's Poster Contest was a huge success and I am really excited to be involved this year," noted Emily Riden, USET Foundation Coordinator of "TEAM USA Poster Contest. "It is very important to keep our junior and pony riders excited about the sport, and give them the opportunity to learn more about our team, our horses, and the rich history of the United States Equestrian Team."

On Friday, March 1, from 6-7pm the United States Equestrian Team Foundation and the United States Equestrian Federation invite USA Fans to a "TEAM USA NATIONS CUP PEP RALLY RECEPTION" held in the "USA" section of the Special Events Pavilion. Bring your team spirit and wear your Red, White and Blue!

Any older junior riders or parents that would like to volunteer and help manage the poster contest are welcome to join the participants on Saturday and Sunday at the Pony Pavilion seating area from 9am-3pm.
