to United States Equestrian Team Foundation

Wellington, FL -  - The National Horse Show Association of America was recognized recently for ten years of continued contributions to the United States Equestrian Team Foundation at a Gold Medal cocktail reception at the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club Golf House in Wellington, Florida. The reception was to honor the long-time donors for their steadfast generosity.

National Horse Show Association President, Mason Phelps, Jr. noted that the United States Equestrian Team Foundation is one of the association's most important charities. "What could be more important than supporting the long term goals of the USET Foundation?" he asked. "We are proud that we have been a part of the Gold Medal Club for ten straight years now. We look forward to many, many more years of supporting all of our world-class equestrians."

"Gold Medal Club members of the USET Foundation are its most generous and loyal supporters," said USET Foundation Executive Director, Bonnie Jenkins. "This annual giving program is the life-blood of the organization. Gold Medal Club gifts represent approximately 85% of our contributions each year and they are critical to the amount of funding we can provide to this country's high performance equestrian programs."

"Having the opportunity to pay tribute and thank those individuals and organizations that make the USET Foundation an important part of their charitable giving each year is a highlight for us," Jenkins continued. "The National Horse Show is one of those special organizations that has been so generous and welcoming to the Foundation as they understand the importance of our mission, and every year are there to support us at the Gold Medal Club level. We are fortunate and grateful to Mason Phelps and the entire National Horse Show Board for all they do."

Each year at the Alltech National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky, a special night is set aside to recognize the USET Foundation, with all of the night's gate receipts for that evening going to support the various programs of the USET Foundation.

"We look forward to Saturday night, grand prix night this year in Kentucky," added Phelps. "Once again, on that special night, we will be proud to put the spotlight on the USET Foundation."

The Alltech National Horse Show is scheduled for the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, on October 29 through November 3, 2013.
