FIRST and ONLY Dressage Diagram Books and Caller Audios Now Available for FEI Para Equestrian Dressage Tests

Dressage Illustrated has released the first and only dressage diagram books and caller audios for the international 2010/2013 FEI Para Equestrian Dressage Tests Grades Ia, Ib, II, III, and IV. The diagram books are available as individual books for each of the five Grades for FEI Para Equestrian riders and as a complete set of all grades for FEI Para Equestrian instructors and judges. The judges books have the diagrams reversed to match the judge's view of the arena. The caller audios are available for the tests in each Grade in MP3 files, downloaded from the Dressage Illustrated web site. The diagram books and audios are in the English language and applicable for all FEI Para Equestrian dressage competitions both local and international.

Memorizing the movements in a dressage test is essential to be able to focus on riding the horse through the test patterns and achieving good scores. Dressage diagrams, combined with audio of the test, has proven to be the most effective way to memorize dressage test patterns because most riders find graphical patterns and audio easier to remember than text.

The riders diagram books are printed on heavy-weight, synthetic paper, with permanent ink to make them waterproof and durable to withstand tack box abuse. The instructors and judges books are printed on heavy synthetic paper with permanent ink in 3-ring binders. The text for each test is printed on the left page with the diagrams for that test on the right page opposite it. See the figure below. All diagrams are color coded by gait (walk-green, trot-blue, canter-red) in different line patterns for each gait.

The caller audios are an audio dressage test learning aid - for riders competing at all levels. Combining tried and tested methods of learning, they help riders store the test movements in their sub-conscious, ready for effortless retrieval, so they can concentrate on riding their horses. Many inexperienced riders do not complete tests in the recommend time; the delay between audio movement readings matches the ride-time to enable riders to achieve the proper speed. Caller audios are most effective for test memorization when used with dressage diagrams for that test.
