Virginia Horses Shot with Pellet gun

When Jennifer Long brought her horses in from pasture the other day, she was shocked to find wounds from a pellet gun on two of them. 

WTVR news reports that the owners are dealing with substantial vet bills for ongoing treatment for the animals.

Long told WTVR:

“It's just been a rough day, just been a rough day. She means a lot to me. I compete with her, I trail ride and camp with her. She's not just a horse, she's like a kid to me.”
