I am reading a book right now called Bridge Called Hope by Kim Meeder. It's an awsome book about a Christian lady that owns a ranch called "Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch" in Oregan. Here is a little bit of the back cover: "
It was her eyes that gave her away. The conflict of her mortal illness versus her will raded behind them. Her body shouted, "I'm sick and it's getting harder and harder to do the things I love!" while her indomitable will shouted back, "Yeahh, but I'm just a little kid, and little kids should get to ride horses!" " ( The back cover really does the book no justice. It's a amazing and inspirational, really a must read!!)

A good christian horse book is "Winnie the Horse Gentler"

Hey Lexi...
Ya I read that book by Kim Meeder....and the second one :) They are REALLY good books!
What she does with horses and kids is my dream!
I am also reading a book called "Chicken Soup for the Horse Lovers Soul" it's not specifically a Christian book but it has some good true horse stories in it :)

The Horsefeathers books by Dandi Daley Mackall(sp?) are pretty good, so are Lauraine Snelling's books. She has a series about jumping (High Hurdles) and racing (Golden Eagle, I think).

KeyStone Stables series is really good. Very Christian.

Lexi, Have you seen my books Horse Tales from Heaven, Horse Tales from Heaven Gift Edition, and Heavenly Horse Sense?  I worked from the saddle in the Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana for fifteen years.
