Just wanted to say that I'd "stumbled" upon this site, (Not the thread, but the whole site) because I was looking about the correct way to braid a mane for dressage.  I lurked for about five minutes deciding that I really wanted to join.  Thanks for having me!

 

Now, I want to say that I LOVE Connemaras!  In fact, my very first horse was a Connemara named Rascal Mike.  He and I did SO much together.  I learned dressage and jumping on him, not to mention how to fall off!  In fact, this is Rascal and me at a combined training event:
