how does everyone keep their feet and hands from freezing in the winter.  What works to keep you the warmest?  Or am I the only crazy one that loves to ride in the snow on a sunny day?

Cozy toes!
winter riding boots...ones that are lined. I wear mine Nov-Mar/Apr in the rockies. Even when we had a spell of -12 degrees, and I went to the barn to check on my horses....they are great. The thick gloves are a bit challenging to ride in, but they do keep your fingers warm.
Love my Irideon windpro breeches. They're light and you can wear thermals under them - keeps your legs toasty and sheltered from the wind. Also the matching jacket.
I got winter riding boots that are insulated and I wear wool hunting socks with them. I love my SSG winter riding gloves, with silk glove liners. The liners really do make a huge difference.
I use the heated warmers (forgot the name). Also wear thick socks.
I will slip on a "onesie" which is to say, a zip-up coverall that's quilted, over a few other layers of clothing. It's roomy enough to easily get aroundin and on/off a horse. Unless I want to serously school jumping or mostly trot/canter dressage, it's toasty! Perfect for trails. I weat the winter insulated boots with it to keep toes warm. Gloves are tricky...I'll pull my hands inside the long sleeves of the coverall periodically or else my fingers always freeze-regardless of the caliber of glove. Also,i take the liners out of my helmet to allow enough room for a ski cap to fit snugly underneath.
A lot of people I know use those hand warmers in a packet like they use for skiing. They seem to be really effective.
