This pretty jet black mare is a 10 yo in training. We have tried western saddles with her to see no results. First time under an English saddle and I can get her to move out at a walk. For just a beginner at being ridden so far she has done very well. Seldom will you get a buck out of these horses unless you are causing them pain. I have worked with several individuals and its all the same. Respect them, gain their respect, and they wont try to hurt you.

Shown above is Diosa de Oro, ridden by Heidi Bemis of Galicenos of Suwannee, Live Oak Fl.  Our Galiceno horses are very versatile. This mare has shown extensively in showmanship(halter), western pleasure, english, and what appeared to be a trail class. She almost always takes home ribbons.

Pictured above is El Cacahuatito, a 20 yo Galiceno gelding.  He is out of Top Star by Senorita Rey Rojo. This boy is nearly 15hh and one of the biggest Galicenos I have ever seen.  All solid colors except albino are accepted. This is a dun roan.  His dam and sire were both dun or dunskin. His full sisters included a red roan, a bay, and dun/dunskin.
