Qualified riding instructor/coach needed for busy riding school - Newmarket, Ontario
The Royal Canadian Riding Academy is under new management and is now hiring for a full time certified coach to assume teaching responsibilities at our busy lesson/show facility located only minutes from the 404 and Newmarket.
This is an independant contractor position to be paid per lesson - salary commensurate with experience. Equine Canada Coaching Level 1 Certification or higher preferred but not mandatory. All experienced coaches will be considered.
Lessons take place in a fun and safe atmosphere with groups matched in age and riding level. Instruction is available in English riding on our selected school horses and ponies, or on your own/leased horse (enquire at the RCRA Office for lesson/horse board packages).
Riding School lessons are held in one large indoor arena all year round. We do have 4 large (show quality) outdoor arenas, though we would like to keep our riding school in the indoor. Advanced group lessons may, on certain occasions, include riding through beautiful forest and fields as RCRA is situated on 280 acres backing onto the Vivian Forest.
Riders in our lesson program also have an opportunity to be involved in the Academys many other activities. We are using the Equine Canada Rider Level program to give our students extra-curricular activities. Higher level competitions are available throughout the year on site, plus riding clinics with well known guest instructors.
