Opening immediately for working student. Live in position. Winter in Florida. Lots of riding. Must be competent rider and able to ride young horses as well as schooled horses. Opportunity to train with a professional without cost. Teaching & competition opportunities dependent on abilities. Barn chores and farm maintenance included. Includes winter competition season in Florida.

Requirements
Feeding,mucking,turn out,yard work etc as a team. Hacking, lungeing,grooming. Lots of opportunity to ride & work with horses. Go to shows. Enthusiasm, positive attitude & good client skills essential. Must be very tidy in barn and have experience handling horses. This position will best suit someone who is looking to develop a career in riding. Serious applicants only please.

Accommodation
Room with another working student. Shared bath/kitchen/living. Utilities & laundry facilties included. Clean and tidy environment. Everyone helps with meals and housekeeping duties.

The Facility
30 acre, 20 stall facility near Edmonton, Alberta. Heated barn, indoor & outdoor arenas, wash rack, large paddocks, box stalls. Currently boarding 30 horses. Cross country courses nearby & schooling xc field and jumps, including water jump now on site. Instructor is advanced eventer, former Canadian Team member and certified Level 3 Coach. Located 10 minutes from town of Sherwood Park and city of Edmonton. Various programs including Children and Adult Learn To Ride courses as well as Competitive Rider Programs.
