A rare opportunity to join the team at Ironwood Farms and work with Kim Farlinger at her barn located just minutes south of Ottawa, Ontario

Kim is seeking an experienced show groom whose main responsibilities will be the daily care and show prep of 4-5 of Kim's Grand Prix horses including "Cordoba" and "Bay Street".

This is a small, privately operated barn with quality horses and quality staff. Team leadership, initiative and attitude are rewarded. Staff housing is provided at home and away - We pride ourselves on ensuring that quality accommodations are provided while traveling.  We work long days and we work hard but we work together.

Job Requirements:

• Valid drivers license
• Valid passport (able to travel into USA)
• Experience working with competition horses as a groom or similar position
• Clipping/show prep experience
• Proven understanding of the demands of show groom schedules and the rigorous demands made of our horses.
