Assistant Riding Instructor Needed

We are looking for someone to assist in the running and instruction of our lesson program, assist with barn chores, and look after the farm when the main instructor is competing (dressage). This position will be 5-15 hours per week, with possible room for growth. Wage will be hourly for barn duties, and per student for lessons.

Classes are small, with 1-4 students per lesson. Most students jump at a beginner or intermediate level, but applicant will also teach some beginners.

The successful applicant will have opportunities to ride (unpaid) and will receive free lessons. Showing may also be possible. Discounted board is also available.

MUST have some competition experience over fences, and an interest in teaching. Experience teaching not needed, as applicant will be mentored and given the tools required to teach our program. Must be available at least 2 evenings per week, and some/most weekends. Day time hours possible as well if desired.
