Hello and Happy Holidays!

It doesn't seem possible, but 2010 is almost over.  Where did the time go?  At Back in the Saddle Training, I am working on setting up my training schedule for the new year as well as my clinic schedule.  I specialize in teaching women over 40, particularly horsewomen who have fear issues, health issues, are re-riders, are beginners, and/or are heavier riders.  I focus on the concepts of balance, center and connection so that riders can have a better relationship with horses.  I teach in a lesson format and hold clinics along the Front Range of Northern Colorado and the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.  I also travel around the country giving clinics.  I will be launching my new blog, The Horse-Human Relationship, by the end of the year and will be offering web-based training come January 2011.

I am a lifelong equestrienne, having ridden since I was a child.  I have trained in dressage with an advanced-level event rider, gentled wild Mustangs, taught 2-year-olds to octogenarians, and founded and direct the Horse-Human Relationship Program for the nonprofit Tapestry Institute.  I ride western and english but prefer bareback most of all.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions about my services!  Happy Holidays!

Jo

You should check in with Wind_Chaser - sounds like she's your perfect client!  Check out the thread I started called "If you could..." in the forum.

Thanks, Patti!  Can you let me know which forum?  I tried doing a search for the thread but couldn't find it.

Hi Jo  - what a great idea, this opens up a whole new area to market to as well - very exciting. I think the only way to make our equine businesses thrive is to allow them to change and evolve with the present times and not cling to how things used to be - I wish you every success with this new direction. where in the world are you located?

Thanks, Linda!  It's really great working with horsewoman over 40.  It's amazing how many people have very similar issues and since women are, by-and-large, relational learners, it's wonderful that we can all learn together.

I'm located in Northern Colorado, between Fort Collins and Boulder.  I travel all along that area of the Front Range giving in-person lessons at people's facilities.  I also have two facilities where I have lesson horses, and a facility in Cheyenne where I give one-day clinics...when there isn't too much snow this time of year.  :-)

Thanks again!

Jo
