ASPCA urges horse lovers to join the Pony Express letter writing campaign

The ASPCA is appealing to horse lovers  to help stop the inhumane roundups of wild horses. The National Wild Horse Foundation is urging animal
advocates from across the country to join its Pony Express campaign—a
life-saving letter writing initiative.

What You Can Do
Please visit the ASPCA's website to learn how you can send a letter urging the
BLM to end the needless roundups and confinement of wild horses and
burros.

Madeleine Pickens, the organization's founder, will print and personally deliver
the letters to President Obama, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and BLM
Director Bob Abbey via "Pony Express"—on one of her many rescued
mustangs. The group has set a goal of collecting 20,000 letters by
September 1—so jump aboard Madeleine's Pony Express today!
