Following the German Show Jumping Championships at Munster this weekend, the Show Jumping Committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee has named a long-list of riders under consideration for the upcoming 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. National coach Otto Becker may announce later this week which five riders will travel to Kentucky, of which four horse/rider combinations will represent Germany in the WEG. The following combinations, in alphabetical order, are on the long-list:

• Ludger Beerbaum (Reisenbeck) with Gotha, Coupe de Coeur
• Marcus Ehning (Borken) with Plot Blue, Sabrina, Nolte's Küchengirl
• Marco Kutscher (Reisenbeck) with Cash, Cornet Obolensky
• Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum (GER) with Checkmate
• Janne-Friederike Meyer (Schenefeld) with Cellagon Lambrasco
• Thomas Mühlbauer (Kötzting) with Asti Spumante
• Carsten-Otto Nagel (Wedel) with Corradina
• Lars Nieberg (Homberg) with Lord Luis
• Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst (Steinfeld) with Chacco-Blue
• Philipp Weishaupt (Reisenbeck) with Souvenir, Catoki
