Jessica Kurten won the second class on the first day of Cannes, 2010 with her evergreen partner, Castle Forbes Libertina.

Although 15 horse had got through to the jump off, it was really a bloodless win as when the Irishwoman stopped the clock she was two seconds faster than the previous leader!

Although Phillippe Rozier and Daniel Deusser both made good attempts to catch her, she still won the 8000 Euro first prize by over a second. Afterwards Jessica said that "Libertina was particularly wonderful tonight and it has been my pleasure to be her partner."
