The Horse.com/Blood-Horse is reporting that Rachel Alexandra has been retired.  Jess Jackson, the majority owner, made the announcement today.  

Rachel Alexandra had a most impressive career, winning the Grade I Blackberry Preakness Stakes along with two other Grade I stakes against colts while maintaining an undefeated three-year-old record.

There was no information as to her future.
