SAUGERTIES, NY--HITS, Inc. is proud to announce that Pfizer Animal Health, the leader in animal health care, will be the title sponsor of its $1 Million Grand Prix that will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2011. The Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix was a ground-breaking, show-jumping spectacular that took the equestrian world by storm in 2010, and raised the level of Grand Prix competition in the United States.

“Pfizer Animal Health is absolutely thrilled to continue as the sponsor of the $1 Million Grand Prix,” said Kristin Ruff, Director at Pfizer Animal Health. “This year, we received such tremendous feedback from customers, the HITS management and staff, riders, spectators and the industry as a whole. We look forward to what exciting things are to come in 2011.”

The 2011 Pfizer Million will be a culmination of 56 qualifying Grand Prix that will take place from coast to coast at all HITS horse shows. The very first qualifier for 2011 is already in the books thanks to the Culpeper Finals that took place this past September. The HITS winter circuits in Ocala, Florida, Thermal, California, and Tucson, Arizona will hold the next opportunities for high-performance riders to take aim at qualifying for the Pfizer Million. Every Grand Prix offered at HITS in 2011 from January through September 4 will be a qualifying class for the Million.
