Pablo Barrios of Venezuela continued his winning ways today, the second day of the 2010 Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament. Yesterday he won the Akita Drilling Cup on G&C Lagran and today he won the first class of the day in the International arena, the Atco Structures and Logistics cup, on the same horse.

Barios rode a faultless jump-off and squeaked by Yann Candele by just 0.066 of a second.

The top ten finishers were:

1. Pablo Barrios, Ven, G & C Lagran, 0, 35.310
2. Yann Candele, Can, Game Ready, 0, 35.376
3. Pius Schwizer, Sui, Verdi III, 0/36.034

9. Jonathon Millar, Can, Piccobello du val de Geer, 4/37.359
10. Eric Lamaze, Can, Take Off, 8/37.526

In the Cana Cup, for Beezie Madden, going last in the order gave her a definite picture of what she had to do. And as she so often does, she went out and got it done.

Gerco Schroeder of the Netherlands led off the jump-off in which there was a total of five riders.  His second clear ride looked like he might pull off the win as each of the next two riders pulled a rail while Pablo Barrios withdrew. Then Beezie put in her clear which was just half a second faster than Schroeder's, but was enough to give her the win.
