The ongoing news story about the parasailing donkey stunt which provoked a worldwide outcry has taken a few interesting turns. The donkey called Anapka, which was purchased by the British tabloid, The Sun, from a Russian businessman, has been moved to new digs in Moscow at the Kremlin Riding School, apparently quite a fancy stable. Efforts are still being made to bring the donkey to Britain.

However, it has been revealed that Anapka may not actually be the donkey who underwent the parasailing ordeal. The Russian language news source Komsomolskaya Pravda has published comments from Vasily Gorobets, the man who had borrowed Anapka for the season to give donkey rides on the beach, that Anapka was not the donkey used in the stunt. Gorobets now maintains that another donkey named Manya was the actual victim. Gorobets has said he still has Manya, that she is perfectly well following the stunt, and that he will keep her. Apparently the actual owner of Anapka was the unnamed businessman  who told The Sun that Anapka was the victim and of course, he was the one who was paid.

So, now the question remains: Which donkey parasailed and which one will be rescued?
