Does anyone know where best to donate horsey gear to equine charities in ireland to? I know they're finding things tough because of the recession and horses being abandoned and i have a few rugs i want to donate, but not sure where they'll be best used or needed. any suggestions?

Hi Karen. There are many worth horse charities in Ireland. The Irish Horse Welfare Trust - www.ihwt.ie - does a lot of great work, as does the Blue Cross - www.bluecross.ie - and the ISPCA - www.ispca.ie. I know that any of these charities would be delighted with any donations you were able to make and rugs are certainly needed given the weather in Ireland at the moment!
