leads

i just started in hunters and have a big pony ive been working with. the problem is she will not take the right lead!! we tried everything and nothing is working. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

If it's leads as in canter on the right lead, then my horse also does that, and what I do is either turn his head to the outside and squeeze with my inside leg, or turn him in a tight circle, which you can only do at home. In time, it will get better =)
