YOUR HORSE COULD BE A GREETING CARD SUPERSTAR!

Your horse could have what it takes to become the international star of a brand new Jude Too greeting card.

Hi everyone, I'm Lesley Bruce the artist behind Jude Too. All of my cards are based on real-life events, and this fall I am inviting riders everywhere to send me their most unforgettable horsey moments to be created into a brand new greeting card based on the antics of a new equine superstar and their "person".

On October 31, I will select one horse and rider to capture their story in an original picture and share it with the whole world as the newest addition to the international Jude Too series.

What happened to you and your horse today…last month...last year? What made you laugh…love...cry...scream just because you have a horse? Your story can be funny, silly moving - even embarrassing, but most of all fun.

To enter, post your story on our group Comment Wall along with a small photo of you and your horse. Your story can be as short as one paragraph!

For examples of current Jude Too cards visit the Jude Too collection. I look forward to reading your stories!!

so this is my very very high maintance horse vinny he is a 7 yr old tb!
so there is a few great stories to be told with this guy and i have only had him for just over a year now.

one good one is so i was hanging out at the barn with my good friend watching her horse hang out eating grass in a round pen. When i came up with this great idea that i would get on her horse bare back and let him walk around while i am on his back. it went so good that i was very conviced that my horse who is alot more dead quiet than hers woudl be fine with the idea to. so i walked our to him in his padock and brought him to the fence so i could get on while my friend held him. As soon as my friend let go of his face my horse set off from a halt right the gallop in a small padock i might add and then bucking like a crazy boy.
so as there was nothing for me to hold on to i came flying off my horse and landed into a nice pile of hard poo. as i look up to see where my beloved boy was, there he was standing beside me looking at me like he was saying serves you right! it most deffently was one of the most funniest moments i have had but man did my leg hurt from falling a rock hard piece of crap!

Lesley,
Luckily the wires didn't come down! After all that rubbing though he had hardly any tail left at the top- it looked like I had shaved it off.

He's not in harness (although I would like to) as he's a bit spooky and I have images of him galloping across the countryside with me clinging onto the cart for dear life!

He's a very strong horse, he got the noseband of his headcollar stuck on the lorry at a show once (unknowingly) and before I had a chance to unhook him he pulled his head back slowly, with no effort, and snapped the noseband in two!

I have had him for 7 wonderful years and we have gone through thick and thin-he also keeps me sane as my other horse is a 3 year old TB filly (Diva) who I rescued, she has lots of issues and he is a rock, if it wasn't for him I would have given up on her long ago, and his calming influence is good for her. I have attached a picture of them both in their new field - Roman looks very un-impressed due to the lack of grass but he really needs it!

He is a real comedian, who knows just want to do to make me laugh and pick me up when I am down, to be honest I don't know where I'd be without my Roman

He was also the reason my

What a story Allessa,

Hairy too, it takes something to shift a tree never mind a telegraph pole ... WHAT A HORSE ... did the wires come right down?? doesn't bear thinking of all that electricity flailing about.

Roman is a beautiful boy, I love Shires, do you ride and drive him?

Thanks for the story.
Cheers

Elly.

OMG Wonderful picture, just wish I could see them in the flesh.

Foxcry Nicodemus looks like a welsh mountain pony to me, I[m from Wales and he looks so like one. They are the cleverest little demons going and don't believe they are children's ponies at all and are destined for much greater things. ... looks like he's proved it. ... Great .

Thanks for the unbelievable picture. he he!

Cheers

Hi Caroline,

Yajamila, what a lovely name and a lovely story, one thing to think she would come to you but to dig you out ... amazing ... you must have a deep communication with her.

I've been stuck in mud like that and ended up flat on my face in it, never thought to call for help??

Thanks for telling me your story it has warmed my heart.

Cheers

'Electric Roman'
Roman is a lovely 16hh Shire x. He is very heavy, around 650 kg, and a couple of years ago we were renting land from a farmer. He was in the top field above the farm house, and there was an electric pole just next to the fence, that carried the electric on into the house. Roman being the itchy horse that he is decided that it would make a good scratching post, fast forward 5 months and we have a very wobbly pole!

One day whilst he was scratching his bum, building up a good rhythm, the two wires on the pole were swining closer and closer to each other, when all of a sudden *****BANG!!!!!**** and the two wires clap together!! Roman goes shooting off across the field at 100 miles an hour, and the farmer quickly realises that he has no electric, then sees my horse galloping away from the pole!

The poor farmer had no electric for a week but at least Roman had relieved his itch! We were also kicked out of the farmer's orchard as Roman started to make the apple trees wobbly.... the picture is of my lovely boy when he found something new to scratch on...the gate!
