I've ridden since 4 years old, and started retraining thoroughbreds off the track for their new careers. Usually, hunters, jumpers, or eventers if sound enough. Trail horses if that was where they fit.
I've taught, trained and showed in Europe and throughout the USA. Wisdom is the essential ingredient to a safe, sound relationship with your horse. How is that developed? Several ways:
Learn techniques from teachers/trainers whose techniques are based in kindness and caring about every aspect of the horse/rider relationship.
I've also found meditation in a top notch meditation practice to build inner harmony..I looked all over for one which was founded in true spiritual awareness and that could bring inner quiet and stillness...so I can listen to me horse, my family..and others from a new level of balance.
I found one after years of looking, interestingly enough..after spending a huge amount of money looking..this one is free. It's called Falun Dafa....later I'll discuss why I do this, or answer any questions.
Right now..just HI!!! It'll be nice getting to know you!
