Whether you like to drive them, ride them, work them or look at them, this forum is dedicated to the Shire Horse, and to raise awareness that:
1. The Shire Horse remains on the 2010 Watchlist at the Critical Level in the US as reported by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy; and
2. The Shire Horse lists at a Category 4 - "At Risk of Endangerment" as reported by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, a leading conservation charity working to restore Britain's native livestock.
